VOLCANIC PR - Nurturing The Noise

Most up and coming bands face many a task in promoting themselves, often holding down day jobs whilst running their band and generally trying to step up a level and keep progressing. Whilst many PR officers will charge a high monthly fee, VOLCANIC PR offers a no strings, low cost, one-off profile boost. We work with you on a single release basis, we take a number of copies of your band's demo/sampler/EP/Album (preferably in plastic slip cases not jewel cases), a one-off fee and if possible one or two high quality photos of your band. We will then write you a professional quality biography collate a press pack and use our extensive database of contacts (underground media, student media, national media, record labels, booking agents, promoters, A&R) to garner your band reviews, feedback, exposure and hopefully mega-stardom, whilst leaving you worry free to concentrate singularly on making music! Between our staff members we have experience in many sides of the industry, from fanzine writing to tour management for high profile artists, to playing/touring in bands, to working for ticketing agencies, to full term management of bands in worldwide territories. We offer three packages aimed at three different levels from taking baby steps for new bands to offering an industry based push for more established, regularly gigging bands, to an all out combination of the two for bands that are established, gigging, possibly touring but need some aid taking the next crucial step. The 'INFECTION Package - we take 100 CD's and £200 *Whilst VOLCANIC PR wishes to work with as many artistes as possible the 'Epidemic' and 'Devastation' packages can only be offered to suitable artistes who are career minded, have a regular profile and have already taken their first steps onto the UK/Regional live touring circuit. Also we will always advise on the best level package to suit your band and aim to work well within the market place we feel your band is at. VOLCANIC PR will not take on a band purely for the sake of financial gain. 'Infection' - The Infection package is aimed at building your band's reputation on a 'grass roots' level. Your music will be sent to underground media - fanzines, student radio, DIY promoters and smaller venues. We will aim to boost your bands profile, get you a higher volume of website traffic, spread your bands name on an underground level and generally increase awareness. 'Epidemic' - The next logical step. The Epidemic package will push your band on the same level as the infection package but also start to push further into the industry - bigger booking agents/promoters, record labels, national media and underground media. The epidemic package is aimed at creating awareness and building on it instantly to achieve a reputation with fans and industry alike as well as gaining your band published reviews. 'Devastation' - An all-out war on the senses! The Devastation package covers the full gamut from underground media and general awareness to pushing your discs to national magazines, national radio, key A&R figures, booking agents, record labels (both large and small), and heavy online promotion coupled with 'street team' style promotion. 'Devastation' is aimed at equally building a fanbase and also building your band's reputation on the inside of the industry machine in a short space of time. We are also in the process of launching 'VOLCANIC RECORDS'
an in-house label aimed at signing and promoting heavy guitar-based
bands. Whilst our PR packages in no way guarantee the label working
with your band, any bands we enjoy working with and heavily believe
in musically, are likely to be involved in any viable tie-ins
with the label to benefit both our career and the bands. |
